Charity- A Domestic Abuse charity providing a service to vulnerable users

Role - Service Manager

Location - Surrey, on site

Package - £30,000 - £38,000 (Depending on experience) + Company benefits

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Services Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to the improvement of the service, requiring a candidate passionate about social impact and dedicated to making a difference for the service users.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance operational systems and processes in housing services
  • Build partnerships with external agencies for coordinated support
  • Manage referrals, assess client suitability, and ensure a welcoming move-in process
  • Assist in budgeting to ensure financial stability and resident support
  • Promote financial literacy among residents and oversee payments
  • Lead, support, and train team members to reach full potential
  • Conduct regular team meetings and supervision sessions
  • Set and monitor performance goals, using outcome-based measures

 

Requirements

  • UK Driving license
  • Strong knowledge of housing and homelessness laws, financial inclusion, and safeguarding policies.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people, particularly those facing/ have faced domestic abuse.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and inspire positive change in clients (Management experience).
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at building productive relationships with colleagues, residents, and stakeholders.
