Job Description

Company & Role Overview 

Our client is a financial planning agency who are looking for some eager kickstarters to join their team.  
This is an opportunity to be the first employee in a tech startup with a chance to prove yourself for a permanent role. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support our sales and marketing efforts with a range of day to day administrative and creative tasks
  • Help develop social media and marketing campaigns, including developing posts and creatives, this will include working closely with the CEO and PR team
  • Day to day management of social media channels, including posting, monitoring and engagement
  • Social media audience development - in particular LinkedIn and Twitter and initiate review of Facebook, Instagram and other channels as possible additional routes
  • Data collation to help with market definition 
  • Acting as part of the frontline team in handling customer and sales enquiries - this will include answering first line support type questions, assisting with onboarding, and escalating queries as required 
  • Tasks and projects in helping to establish and communicate with Beta Testing group, and commercial launch later in the year. This is likely to be wide ranging! 

Requirements

  • Skilled, confident and natural user of social media and using readily available tools to create interesting and engaging content. Any experience of doing this in a business environment a distinct advantage. 
  • Bossy but in all the right ways. Let’s call it a confidence to communicate with and to a small busy team who have a lot to do! 
  • A willingness to get involved, take things on, and take ownership. 
  • It’s great being highly organised, but we also want you to be productive and to recognise your contribution.  
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines - you may have to set some of these as well! 
  • Communication is key - especially as a lot of your work will be in the public domain and representing Tether to the world. Great English skills and eye for detail is a given. 
  • You’ll need to be confident and happy to talk to our most important people (customers) on the phone and via video - be natural, be helpful, and you don’t need to know everything but the more you can take on overtime the better. 
  • Having a degree really helps us understand that you can organise and think things through, but we’re looking for the work experience you have had, in any environment, to help you in your role.

    Role Overview

    Our client is currently in the market for a Deputy Manager to come and join their busy team! The successful candidate will support and manage the staff to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people, managing child protection concerns and complaints and participating in reviews to provide the best outcome for everyone.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that each young person has an assigned primary worker and team member are aware of each child’s relevant plans and their responsibilities for its implementation.
    • Performing the role of "on-call manager" to provide out-of-hours support for the home, on a rotating basis
    • Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve optimal outcomes for young people
    • Maintaining accurate written records to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to occur
    • Working in partnership with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
    • Assisting with the recruitment and retention of staff, including induction training for new staff into the home
    • Providing consultation and informal advice and support to staff in relation to day-to-day matters
