We’re working with a brilliant not-for-profit organisation making a real difference across communities. They’re now looking for a HR Officer to support their growing team with a mix of operational HR tasks and people-focused initiatives.

As a HR Officer, you will:

  • Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to staff and managers across the organisation
  • Support with end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
  • Maintain and update HR systems, records, and reports, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance
  • Assist with employee relations cases, including investigations, sickness, and performance management
  • Support the delivery and review of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate staff wellbeing, engagement, and learning initiatives
  • Support with payroll input and benefits administration
 

What they're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a charity, membership body or not-for-profit
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practice
  • Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships across all levels
  • Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards) desirable
