We’re working with a brilliant not-for-profit organisation making a real difference across communities. They’re now looking for a HR Officer to support their growing team with a mix of operational HR tasks and people-focused initiatives.
As a HR Officer, you will:
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to staff and managers across the organisation
- Support with end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
- Maintain and update HR systems, records, and reports, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Assist with employee relations cases, including investigations, sickness, and performance management
- Support the delivery and review of HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate staff wellbeing, engagement, and learning initiatives
- Support with payroll input and benefits administration
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience in a HR role, ideally within a charity, membership body or not-for-profit
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practice
- Confident communicator, able to build trusted relationships across all levels
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards) desirable
