Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes The Graduate Project’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2026. We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
Our Commitment
The Graduate Project has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
Supply Chains
Our supply chains include candidate sourcing platforms, technology providers, and marketing agencies. We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors and suppliers. As part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour.
Risk Assessment
We conduct appropriate background checks and maintain oversight of our recruitment processes to help prevent modern slavery risks. Awareness of modern slavery forms part of our internal training for all staff, with managers receiving additional guidance to identify potential risks.
About Our Business
The Graduate Project is a recruitment consultancy providing graduate and professional recruitment services. Our company values of Trust, Integrity, Pride, and Expertise guide our operations and underpin our commitment to fairness, equality, and transparency across all aspects of our work.
Internal Policies
The Graduate Project maintains a dedicated Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy. This is supported by related internal policies such as our Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing Policy, and Equal Opportunities Policy, reflecting our commitment to ethical business conduct.
Continuous Review
We regularly review the effectiveness of our policies and procedures to ensure they remain robust. Where improvements are identified, we take immediate steps to strengthen our approach and maintain our commitment to corporate social responsibility.
