Job Description

Company & Role Overview 

Our client is a successful habit changing programme seeking some Kickstarters to come and join their team. 

They are looking for a Podcast Assistant to help them create, edit, curate, and enhance the podcasts and other media content that are produced. This role will be to primarily to assist in the recording and editing of podcasts. The role generally will not necessitate you carrying out the interviews or producing content yourself, but ideally you will be able to offer creative input to improve the content of each podcast you work on. This role will also include tasks similar to that of a general production assistant. 

Main Responsibilities

  • As a podcast assistant, you will be assisting with the set-up, recording and editing of podcasts, uploading podcasts to online distribution networks, and offer creative and editorial support to the podcast producers.
  • You will be setting up live online talks and webinars and researching potential guests and publications to collaborate with.
  • You have regular check-ins with our podcast producers to set up the plans for each week.
  • The role will also require you to listen to each podcast episode and write an episode description to be uploaded to our social media platforms.  
  • This is a great opportunity for someone to work on building the success of an established podcast in an environment where you will have the opportunity to be creative.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in social media and PR, along with an interest in health and wellbeing. 
  • They will be able to work remotely and autonomously and possess outstanding communication skills.  
  • This role requires extensive knowledge of how podcasts are distributed, and how feeds, iTunes, and other podcast apps works. 
  • The possession of goof audio editing skills is essential, in addition to an understanding of different audio formats and their strengths and limitations.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required so as to allow polite and professional communicate with a wide range of contributors, both internally and externally. 
  • The possession of good I.T skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic connection issues on remote calls is also needed in this role.

  • Senior Test Analyst

    • Supervising a team consisting of 2-3 Junior Test Analysts with a budget allocation of up to £150k
    • Collaborating with Technology Development and stakeholders to ensure thorough testing of all software, guided by senior test members using Agile methodologies
    • Developing test cases and implementing the test strategy based on predefined testing methodologies, ensuring alignment between testing procedures and the specified requirements and acceptance criteria
    • Prioritizing automated test procedures over manual testing whenever possible and more effective
