Job Description

Company & Role Overview 

Our client is an exciting video production company based in the east central area. 

They are looking for an enthusiastic creative with a passion for film and media to work with a new well-funded company in the production and entertainment industry. Candidates should be proactive, self-motivated and highly organized.

You will quickly have exposure to the creative activities on all of their current and development projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Building decks and pitch presentations
  • Research and Insight gathering for creative development
  • Creating and ideating stories, characters and worlds for established properties
  • Assisting the head of casting and production with pre-production, line production and post-production activities
  • Writing and punching up pitch pages, bibles and scripts
  • Collaborating with production teams and creative executives on creative projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred but not required) (Art/Design, English, Film, Media Studies)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote and Pages, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Passion and knowledge of Children’s programming
  • Creative adaptability and flexibility is a MUST
  • Great communication skills, collaborative with a positive can-do attitude and a good sense of humour
  • Ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks, and an interest in taking on real responsibility within a rapidly growing and dynamic start-up
  • Comfortable brainstorming and pitching ideas

    Our client is currently in the market for a Deputy Manager to come and join their busy team! The successful candidate will support and manage the staff to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people, managing child protection concerns and complaints and participating in reviews to provide the best outcome for everyone.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that each young person has an assigned primary worker and team member are aware of each child’s relevant plans and their responsibilities for its implementation.
    • Performing the role of "on-call manager" to provide out-of-hours support for the home, on a rotating basis
    • Attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve optimal outcomes for young people
    • Maintaining accurate written records to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to occur
    • Working in partnership with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
