We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and dynamic IT team based in Cambridge. Our client is a leading UK non for profit organisation who work along side global tech companies and the UK government. They are now looking for a IT Support/Technician to join their team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day 1st and 2nd line support for employees on site and remote workers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all IT and Information security systems and processes.
  • Work within the boundaries of the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS) polices to ensure continued Cyber Essentials Plus compliance and accreditation.
  • Perform troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, business continuity and disaster recovery functions.
  • Ensure all software is fully up to date.
  • Produce reports on network issues and recommendations for improvements to the IT Manager.
  • Support company infrastructure according to Cyber Essentials Plus standard and assist in audit inspections.

Requirements

  • Experience in Microsoft365
  • Experience inActiveDirectory,SharePoint andAzure
  • Experience with hardware such as PC's/Printer/Peripherals, switches
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of different IT hardware and software
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR/Data Protection principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of the engineering of the internet and its technologies
  • Ability to learn IT skills quickly
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks

    Responsibilities 

    • Get ready for and participate in client meetings as needed, making thorough written records and handling any administrative or technical tasks afterward
    • Address intricate and technical client inquiries under the guidance of the Private Client Director
    • Maintain precise client records in internal systems (iO and Volume), encompassing all written and electronic correspondence with clients and providers, as well as meeting notes

    Requirements
