Company and role overview

Our client is searching for a flexible and detail orientated Events Administrator to join their team. The team is responsible for around 120 events per year and are inviting a candidate to support the planning, organising and on-site management of these events. The candidate will provide administrative support to the Events Co-Ordinator to ensure a high standard of service is delivered.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Assist the Events Co-ordinators to organise events, conferences, and courses
  • Responsible for overseeing the events inbox and deal with any queries
  • Managing each client’s requirements by sending out admin details, arranging travel and accommodation where applicable and thank you letters
  • Responsible for using databases to organise new events, create delegate lists, badges, feedback forms and speaker material
  • Delegate registration, including registration of delegates onto the database, sending out confirmation letters and receipts, handling payments and all queries.
  • Prepare and staff registration desk for face-to-face events and staff live support function for virtual events
  • Print delegate material and certificates regular correspondence with venues, send manuals, invoicing, email certificates, add delegates to relevant sections in database, thank you letters, faculty arrangements when requested.

 

Requirements

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Competence in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
  • Customer first approach
